School is Almost Over...

School is Almost Over...

There is nothing like coming to college is late August and catching up with all of your friends from the previous years. School itself can be fun at times too as well as the weekends. However, as of now which is almost the end of the second semester, I’ve reached a burnout phase. If you aren’t familiar with burnout, it is simply doing the same things consistently for a while and then being not motivated to do anything. That has been me for awhile now, but I’ll push through.

Looking into the near future, I am very excited for my plans this summer. The first thing on the agenda is Punta Cana. Punta Cana is a beautiful town in the Dominican Republic that me and my family will be visiting the week after finals. That will be so fun, I can’t wait to experience so many amazing things. After Punta Cana, I will resume umpiring for little league baseball. Sidenote, if you are experienced with baseball, I recommend umpiring. $70 a game where I am from to go call balls and strikes for eleven- and twelve-year-old kids. Who could pass that up? I’m also around the sport I’ve loved forever.

Come early to mid-June, I will sadly have to go back to working full time. It stinks but it is very good money and I have a lot of college to pay for unfortunately. As of now those are the only plans I have in place. However, I will definitely be golfing with my friends and enjoying the nice weather in my pool also. Come early to mid-July, I will be moving my stuff out of my parent’s home because my dad decided to purchase a house here in Ada for me to live in. So I’m going to spend the majority of my summer cleaning the house up and moving stuff in and out. In conclusion, I hope everyone toughs it out these last couple weeks of class. I also hope everyone has a great summer filled with great memories and experiences!
